Women's Self Defense

This 2 1/2-hour seminar will include basic principles of self defense and taking control of your fears, safety and situational awareness in order to prevent initial attacks. However, in the event preventative techniques fail, you will also learn how to utilize proven self-defense techniques to fend off an attacker.


The seminar will begin with a discussion on awareness and prevention followed by demonstrations, hands-on instruction and real-life scenarios. We will teach you how to neutralize the most common attacks from having your hair grabbed to being pinned to the ground. This means that women will learn how to utilize grab defenses, ground defense, as well as how to react to verbal attacks. Instead of relying on strength and speed, this seminar will focus on technique and leverage even against larger assailants so it is appropriate and accessible for women of any age and athletic ability.


Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.


Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
