This is the course we all have been waiting for! 


Sign up today for this 7-hour course that includes 4 hours of classroom instruction and 3 hours of range time.  Our experienced instructors will take you through basic instruction and bring your shooting skills to the next level. Rentals are not available for this class. You must provide your own California-compliant firearm and ammunition (ammo).


Requirement:  Students must be at least 18 years of age or older to participate.


The class will include:

•    General safety rules
•    Mechanics of the AR platform
•    Hygiene guidelines
•    Site specific range rules
•    Zeroing sight systems
•    Learning holds at various ranges
•    Magazine changes
•    Trigger control 
•    Field stripping 
•    Mechanical and ammunition failure
•    Cleaning and maintenance


Required Materials:


  • CA-compliant AR-15

    • Please remember to safely and securely transport your weapon unloaded.

    • 1 Magazine unloaded (10-round capacity)

  • 100 - 150 rounds of ammunition

    • Factory ammo only

    • No reloads allowed

  • Ear safety protection - electronic earmuffs recommended
    • Available for purchase from us online or at our office

  • Eye safety protection
    • Safety glasses available for purchase from us online or at our office



Late Registration Fee:

An additional fee of 15% will be charged to students who sign up in less than 5 days from the date of any scheduled course. 


Students must be at least 18 years of age or older to participate. You must be a citizen of the United States or have permanent legal alien status and show a valid driver’s license or other valid photo identification to use a firearm in connection with any Services provided under this Agreement.  Anyone suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed on the range.
