Q.  Is PPE Required on course / range days?

A.  For your safety and ours, we REQUIRE your cooperation to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during the course or you will not be allowed to participate.  Than includes anyone who has received any Covid-19 vaccination. We require that you wear a mask that securely covers your nose and mouth, bring hand sanitizer and practice social distancing whenever possible.

Q.  How old do you have to be to register for a course? 

A.  You must be AT LEAST 18 years of age on the day of the course, and you MUST provide either a valid state driver's license, I.D. card, or U.S. Passport on the day of the course. 

Q.  Do I have to be a U.S. Citizen to take a course?

A.  Yes. You must be a U.S. Citizen OR a permanent legal resident to enroll in our courses.

Q.  Do you offer firearm rentals for all courses? 

A.  No. We only offer firearm rentals for Pistol 1, Pistol 2 and Shotgun courses.

Q.  Can I use reloaded ammunition "ammo" when using my own firearm? 

A.  No. All ammo must be factory ammo. 

Q.  How should I transport my firearm and magazines to class and/or to the firearm range?

A.  Ensure that your firearm and required magazines are safely secured and unloaded while transporting them to your scheduled course and/or to the firearm range. Please call us with any special circumstances. 

Q.  Is the range indoor or outdoor? 

A.  The shooting range is an outdoor range.

Q.  Is there a deadline to sign up for training classes? 

A.  Yes, the deadline to sign up is at least 3 business days before the day of the course without a firearm rental.

Q.  What is the deadline to rent a firearm for a training course?

A.  The deadline to rent a firearm is 3 business days before the scheduled course date you are registered for. 

Q.  Are there late fees to register for courses or rent firearms?

A.  Yes. There is an additional 15% late fee to purchase any class or rent a firearm within 5 days of the scheduled course date.  Due to the limited availability of firearm rentals, they may not be available on short notice and the cost to rent a firearm will be higher. Therefore, we recommend that you rent a firearm at least one to two weeks prior to the course date you register for.

Q.  Does Delta Tactical Training Group sell firearms and ammunition?

A.  No. Delta Tactical Training Group only offers firearm rentals to be used solely for firearms classes that we offer that are under our instructor's supervision during the class.

Q.  What should students wear for training classes? 

A.  Dress appropriately with what the weather forecasts for the day of the class. However, we strongly recommend wearing sunscreen, long sleeve crew neck shirts and pants or jeans, a ball cap style hat, sunglasses and sturdy closed-toe shoes.

Q.  What type of ear protection is recommended to use while at the shooting range? 

A.  We recommend wearing noise-cancelling electronic hearing protection (ear muffs) with volume control to protect your hearing as it allows you to hear the instructor speaking while cancelling out loud noises. Delta Tactical Training Group offers electronic hearing protection for sale online and at its headquarters.

Q.  Will classes be cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather conditions? 

A.  No, classes are typically held rain or shine. However, in extreme weather conditions, classes may be cancelled or postponed at our discretion.

Q.  What is our cancellation policy? 

A.  Delta Tactical Training Group reserves the right to cancel any class.  Classes may be cancelled or postponed depending on Covid-19 mandates per Federal, State, or local County requirements.  Or, if class participation does not meet our minimum attendance requirements you may be rescheduled for a later available class date.  You will be notified by one of our representatives in the event a cancellation or postponement occurs.

Q.  What is our refund policy for courses? 

A.  We do not issue refunds unless we cancel a class you have signed up for.  Extenuating circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Q.  Can I bring water and food to the class?  

A.  Yes. We recommend your bring your own water and snacks in a small cooler with ice to keep cold during class.  An hour lunch break is provided between the classroom and the range session.

Q.  Is alcohol and smoking allowed while attending any training class? 

A.  Alcohol, smoking and drugs are prohibited on the premises during class. Anyone suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to remain on the premises.

Q.  Do we offer any discounts on training classes? 

A.  We occasionally offer packaged discounts and BOGO deals. If you would like to be notified in advance of special deals and discounts, sign up to be added to our mailing list through our website from the About page under Contact. A 15% discount is available to veterans for any BSIS training class with proof of veteran status.

Q.  Who is eligible to sign up for any class offered through Delta Tactical Training Group? 

A.  You must be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent legal U.S. resident who is at least 18 years of age to be eligible to participate in any class offered through Delta Tactical Training Group. 

Q.  Do we offer any specialized training that is not currently offered through Delta Tactical Training Group's website?

A.  We recommend that you contact us through our website from the About page under Contact  to submit your inquiries. A representative will contact you.

Q.  Do any Delta Tactical courses apply towards certification for a Concealed Carry Weapons permit (CCW) in California?

A.  No, our courses do NOT apply towards obtaining a CCW permit.

Q.  Do any Delta Tactical courses apply towards the California Firearms Safety Certificate (FSC) to purchase or acquire a firearm in California?

A.  No, they do not.

Q.  What is our refund and exchange policy for products and apparel?

A.  Due to Covid-19, all sales are final excluding Safe Life Defense tactical gear and products. Returns/exchanges for Safe Life products must meet their requirements; Safe Life products must be returned within 30 days and must be new and in the same packaging as originally provided. Please contact us for additional information about their return/exchange policies.  For Safe Life Defense warranty claims, please submit pictures to Orders@safelifedefense.com so they can assist you further.
