BSIS Chemical Weapons Training Course
This course is designed to teach students discretion and restraint in the use of chemical weapons and to teach techniques of tear gas/pepper spray handling.
The BSIS Chemical Weapons Training Course is an 4-hour class.

Requirements: Only registered security guards or security guard applicants are eligible to take this course.
Students must successfully pass the written examination before a Chemical Weapons permit is issued. Chemical Weapons permits do expire after 2 years. Chemical Weapons permits are issued by the State of California. The permit fee is included with the cost of the class.
Security guards must have a valid security guard registration card and a chemical weapons permit before they may lawfully carry tear gas/pepper spray while on duty.
Class Time: 4-hour class, 8AM - 12PM or 2PM - 6PM

Students will be charged a $15 cancellation fee to cancel any class. No fee will be charged for rescheduling classes.
Late Registration Policy:
An additional fee of 15% will be charged to students for anyone who signs up less than 48 hours from the start of the scheduled course. This fee applies to the cost of the course.
Students must be at least 18 years of age or older to participate. You must be a citizen of the United States or have permanent legal alien status and show a valid driver’s license or other valid photo identification to use any Services provided under this Agreement. Anyone suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to take courses. DTTG RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE.
